smoky quartz, quartz rock crystal, labradorite, ocean jasper, carnelian
and agate.
Large Blue Quartz Pyramid
Girasol quartz from Madagascar has micro
silicate inclusions that give the quartz a hazy glow. The 3 3/4 inch
by 3 inch tall pyramid appears blue in sunlight and fluorescent light
and has blue to pink color in incandescent light.
Clear Madagascar quartz has criss cross
inclusions of reflective planes and thin wispy veils producing a lively
play of light within the 4 inch by 3 1/2 inch tall pyramid. Weighs
2 pounds 2 ounces.
Steep pyramid with chamfered base is
2 1/8 inch by 2 1/2 inch tall. Folds of champagne bubbles in wispy
veils are suspended in clear Madagascar quartz; a series of parallel
blades reflect light within the pyramid.
Clear brown smoky quartz has inclusive
planes that reflect light and illuminate the steep sided pyramid from
Madagascar. The 3 1/2 inch tall pyramid with 2 5/8 inch sides is brightly
polished.
Madagascar rose quartz is translucent
and has a gemmy pink tint even in bright light. The pyramid is cut
and polished to 1 3/4 inch by 1 1/4 inch tall.
The 8 inch by 7 inch dogwood flowers
is soldered rock slabs, like stained glass. Thin slabs of orange and
green aventurine, olivine, white howlite, yellow dyed-white howlite,
and obsidian, compose the artfully crafted dogwood flowers. An oiled
walnut base provides an excellent presentation for this unique, designer
display.
Thin cut slabs of orange aventurine,
green aventurine, white howlite, polished amethyst gems, and olivine
are assembled (stained glass application) with lead solder into the
peach blossom sun catcher. The peach blossoms are made to be hung
in a window, as the photograph shows. The 8 inch by 6 inch sun catcher
is made of high-grade translucent cutting rock that illuminates the
colorful peach blossom sprig when backlit. When viewed from the outside
of the house, the sun catcher is a colorful external decoration.
Wispy veils of water bubbles twine through
the clear quartz. The 1 pound 12 ounce polished quartz is 6 ½
inches by 2 inches by 2 inches (face to face). The sparkling veils
of bubbles interlaced in clear quartz is an attractive quartz display.
There is some mineral inclusion on two sides.
Three veils of sparkling bubbles run
parallel through clear quartz. 1 3/4 inch by 1 3/4 inch by 1 3/8 inch
tall rock crystal pyramid from India is a lively visual display that
will fit on a desk or small shelf.
The quartz pyramid from India is 95%
clear 1 5/8 inch by 1 5/8 inch by 1 5/16 inch tall the pyramid is
bright polished quartz that takes a small amount of space to display
and enjoy.
Dark purple amethyst from India is cut
and polished into a six sided prism shape. Some light orange hematite
inclusion trails through the amethyst. The 87 gram, amethyst wand
is 3 1/8 inches tall by 1 1/16 inch at the base, providing viewing
pleasure in a small amount of display space.
Clear Madagascar quartz has wispy veils
in one corner. 2 1/4 inch by 2 inch by 1 1/2 inch palm sized rock
has a delightful visual display of distorted and reflected light.
Clear quartz with green chlorite, red
hematite and wispy inclusions is cut and polished into a triangular
shape with faceted edges. The Madagascar quartz looks like an ice
sculpture with bits of red and green moss suspended within. The sides
are 3 1/4 inches each and the thickness is 1 inch. The 7 1/3 ounce
quartz display is a good size for a paperweight.
Pink translucent rose quartz from Madagascar
is ground and polished into this bold needle design that is an excellent
display for this high quality rose quartz. The measurements are 8
inches by 1 1/2 inches with a weight of one pound and 13 ounces.
Clear Madagascar quartz has reflective
planes and wispy veils of champagne bubbles that intersect at various
angles trapping and reflecting light. The polished free form is a
flattened sphere, 2 1/2 to 2 1/4 inch in diameter.
