The
eight mineral specimens cover a broad range of mineral types. They
are from top center clockwise:
black tourmaline prism in feldspar, 1 3/16 inch long prism with
1/4 wide faces,
paragenite cryslal faces in calcite, 1 3/4 by 1 by 3/4 inch
3 1/2 inch clear beryl crystals in paralell formation with muscovite
mica,
clear spodumene crystal, 2 by 5/8 by 1/4 inch
1 1/2 by 5/8 by 5/16 inch faden quartz crystal,
1 3.8 inch rounded specimen has transparent light green tourmaline
prisms in booked crystals of pink lepidolite,
green prehnite crystal casts, 2 1/4 by 1 1/4 by 1 inch,
1 inch green peridot crystal cluster,
at the center a 1/2 inch red almandine crytal on a piece of schist
rock.
